Reiki allows the body to be prompted for balancing mentally, physically, and emotionally, as we know how often they overlap and affect one another. Reiki has even started to become incorporated into hospitals and clinics in recent years, to aid patients with chronic illnesses and surgical recoveries. Some benefits of Reiki are, but not limited too:
- Improved Sleep
- Stress and Anxiety Reduction
- Emotional Well-Being
- Natural Pain Reduction and Accelerated Physical Healing
- Spiritual Growth
- Trauma Release
- Mental Focus and Clarity
Here at Sanctuary of Integration, we are a client based center. Our owner, Beth, has very high standards for every single therapist that joins our team, whatever their scope may be, and Hannah is no exception. She is a Certified Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, and has an exceptional gift that allows her to show up for clients and what their needs are. Being skeptical about Reiki is completely understandable, and you do have to be mindful with those you allow access to your energy. Reiki practitioners don’t create energy or give you their energy: rather, they act as a conduit for universal life energy. Everyone interprets energy differently: but most often we determine it from what we can feel in an environment, other people, as well as inside ourselves.
Everyone’s experience is different in this world: and that includes with Reiki. How we see, feel, and understand energy can widely vary. Here at Sanctuary, our therapist encourages dialogue before and after session, as well as honest feedback from the client.
Some people feel happy after reiki, some feel sad, some feel tired, some feel energized, some feel angry, some feel nothing: and all feelings are acceptable, welcome, and normal. Healing is never linear, and neither is clarity sometimes: but this is a tool that can help us enrich and deepen our human experience, to get as close as possible. Each and every Reiki session is unique: even if you come multiple times, you will not leave always feeling the exact same as you did the time before.
All pieces are apart of the puzzle: Reiki is one modality meant to be used as a complementary therapy in conjunction with your usual medical and wellness care. The consistency at which you should receive Reiki is subject to firstly, your own intuition, your goals, and how you personally resonate with the therapy.
If you would like more guidance on this, you can book a free phone consultation with Beth here on our website, or, you can just call directly and ask: Beth or Olivia, our office manager, would love to be of service and help you determine an ideal therapist-fit for you.
